Dick's Drive-In Restaurant opened its very first location in Wallingford back in 1954, and on January 28th, this iconic local staple celebrates its anniversary.

Over the nearly seven decades we've been ordering Dick's burgers, fries and a shake in the PNW, this restaurant chain has seen it all, and during what has been one of the most challenging years our community has ever faced, they have adapted and thrived.

For starters, Dick's has distributed nearly 60,000 burgers to Hospital Heroes and first responders in the area, and they fed more than 800 Veterans free meals on Veterans Day.

Through their RoundUp for Charity program, YOU helped raise more than $203,000 for organizations like Bloodworks Northwest, the American Red Cross, No Child Sleeps Outside, Mary's Place, FareStart, Cocoon House, Compass Housing Alliance, ROOTS, Operation NightWatch, St. Martin De Porres and First Place Scholars.

And don't forget... Dick's unveiled its first-ever Food Truck, brining their beloved burgers to a town near you!

Happy Adventuring (from a safe social distance),
