The Milwaukee Brewers have declined the $15 million 2021 mutual option for Ryan Braun. Braun is now owed a $4 million buyout and will become a free agent.

Braun and the Brewers could end up renegotiating to bring him back in 2021 on a club-friendly deal. Then again, Braun still hasn't decided on whether or not he's willing to call it a career and retire.

The 37-year-old has spent his entire career in Milwaukee and leads the franchise with 352 career home runs.
