Chiefs Announce Season Ticket Member Plan for 2020 Season

(610 Sports) The 2020 NFL season is still full of uncertainty amid the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the many questions still up in the air, is whether or not fans will be able to attend games? Season ticket holders, in particular, have been curious to know how they would be handled.

In anticipation of Arrowhead Stadium operating at a reduced capacity, the Chiefs are automatically crediting payment for 2020 season tickets forward to the 2021 season. All tickets for the 2020 season will be sold as single-game tickets, and season ticket holders will be automatically included in a single-game ticket pre-sale, once that capacity is determined. The credit that season ticket holders receive towards the 2021 season can be utilized to purchase 2020 single-game tickets, if they choose. Season ticket holders will still receive their 2020 season gift box and the season ticket prices for the 2021 season will remain a flat rate. In the event that the organization is permitted to host a full-capacity crowd for any potential playoff games, season ticket holders that don't opt for a refund will be given the first opportunity to purchase their seats. Additionally, parking or hospitality club passes purchased as part of a season ticket membership can be managed exactly like tickets, wither a credit for 2021 or a full refund , if requested.

Season Ticket Members who wish to receive a full refund vs. a 2021 credit can choose to do so by contacting their ticket representative over the phone or via email. While those who opt to receive a refund won’t be eligible for the above benefits in 2020, they will still be issued a 2021 renewal for their same season ticket location(s) and will maintain their tenure.
