Should the Bears be allowed to host fans this season, tickets would only be available to season-ticket holders on a single-game basis. The announcement came from Bears team president Ted Phillips in a letter to season-ticket holders Friday.
The Bears will host training camp at their headquarters of Halas Hall in Lake Forest this summer, a decision that was made in January before the coronavirus pandemic hit. Fans won't be permitted to attend practices for training camp.
Chicago is scheduled to open the regular season at Detroit on Sept. 13. The Bears are set to host the Giants in their home opener at Soldier Field on Sept. 20.
