Blackhawks make series of roster moves ahead of regular-season opener

(670 The Score) The Blackhawks made a series of roster moves Monday, two days before they open the regular season at the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Chicago assigned forward Andrei Altybarmakian, forward Evan Barratt, forward Matej Chalupa, forward MacKenzie Entwistle, forward Reese Johnson, forward Cam Morrison, forward Tim Soderlund, forward Michal Teply, defenseman Chad Krys and defenseman Alec Regular to the AHL Rockford IceHogs.

The Blackhawks also released forward Michael Krutil from camp and released goalie Cale Morris from his professional tryout deal.

In other news Monday, the Blackhawks placed defenseman Anton Lindholm, forward John Quenneville, defenseman Nick Seeler and goalie Matt Tomkins on waivers, Scott Powers of the Athletic reported.
