(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have signed forward Lucas Wallmark to a one-year deal, they announced Monday evening. The deal carries a $950,000 cap hit.

Wallmark, 25, had 23 points (11 goals, 12 assists) in 60 games split between the Hurricanes and Panthers this past season. He played in two playoff games with Florida as well.

Wallmark was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the fourth round in 2014. He has 56 points in 167 career games.
