Bulls' Coby White Named To All-Rookie 2nd Team

White averaged 13.2 points in 65 games as a rookie.

(670 The Score) Bulls guard Coby White was named to the all-rookie second team, the NBA announced Tuesday.

White amassed 90 points on the ballot, drawing eight votes for first-team honors and 74 votes for the second team.

The No. 7 overall pick in the 2019 draft, White averaged 13.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 35.4% on 3-pointers in 65. His 133 3-pointers were the fourth-most by a rookie in Bulls history. White came off the bench for the entire season until March 10 – the Bulls’ final game before the coronavirus pandemic shut the league down and ended their season. White had been named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month in February.

The Grizzlies’ Ja Morant, the Heat’s Kendricks Nunn, the Pelicans’ Zion Williamson, the Grizzlies’ Brandon Clarke and the Warriors’ Eric Paschall earned first-team honors. White was joined on the second team by the Heat’s Tyler Herro, the Raptors’ Terence Davis, the Hornets’ P.J. Washington and the Wizards’ Rui Hachimura.
