The Cleveland Indians finalized their player pool roster on Sunday.
The Indians roster includes 40 players that will train at Progressive Field and 15 players that will train at an alternate site in Lake County.
The club has the ability to add up to five players at any time. Only the 60 selected players can play in 2020.
Teams can field a 30-man roster for Opening Day, which just be reduced to 28 after first two weeks. By mid-September that number must be down to a 26-player active roster, but teams can still draw from the other 34.
Players are expected to arrive in Cleveland Wednesday, July 1st for Spring Training 2.0. Opening day is scheduled for July 23rd or 24th.
The Indians did not have any players opt out who could be considered high risk. Carlos Carrasco was considered a high-risk individual following his leukemia diagnosis last year.
