Former Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash have a lot in common. Neither of them were born in America. Both of them were arguably the best players on the Mavericks at some point (or multiple points) throughout their stints in Dallas. And while basketball is where they specialized, they had some serious football — we're talking association football, not gridiron football — skills as well.

Now, we can effectively introduce another Dallas Maverick into that three-criteria club alongside Nash and Nowitzki: Luka Doncic.

He's undoubtedly the best player on the team, averaging 26.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 9.6 assists en route to another surefire All-Star selection and potential MVP season. He is not American-born, instead hailing from Ljubljana, Slovenia, and is one of three players born in Slovenia along with Goran Dragic and Vlatko Cancar. And we got a glimpse of his soccer skills on display, providing us with more evidence that he can more than hold his own.

If you launched a basketball from half court and asked me to stop its momentum and have it settle on my foot, we'd be in that gym for a long, long time. A couple of juggles later, and a missed heave at the buzzer turned into a viral highlight, anyway.

A discussion between Nash and Doncic in the past was captured on camera, and the 21-year-old superstar gave us some insight as to what they were talking about. You shouldn't be surprised at the topic.
