The two superstars came to play as Cincinnati's Jarron Cumberland scored 26. Jeremiah Martin did him two-better with 28, but it wasn't enough as Memphis fell at Cincinnati 71-69.

Memphis had their chances even coming down to the last possession after Jeremiah Martin's made layup with 7 seconds remaining. Then Memphis fouled Tre Scott who made the first. Memphis then called timeout. Scott missed the second free throw. Then Memphis' Isaiah Maurice proceeded to pass the ball to Cincinnati's Logan Johnson who dribbled out the clock.

Here's reactions from the 92.9 Staff:

Maurice was trying to get the ball to his best player. It is what it is.

One last turnover. So that's that, Cincinnati 71, Memphis 69.

Next Sat is this young man’s Senior Night and anybody who’s ever loved Memphis Tigers basketball/understood what it means to this town should be there to applaud Jeremiah for what he gave. Even in down times, Jeremiah gave Memphis his best. Turned into one helluva player, too. https://t.co/ueSaNmv2NZ
