They came to see James Wiseman, Precious Achiuwa, and the entire Memphis Tigers #1 recruiting class. 60-70 scouts in folding chairs and sprinkled throughout the Laurie-Walton Basketball Center. This was Penny Hardaway's first Memphis "Pro" Day.

Not only were the scouts in Memphis for the Tigers, but to see the New Zealand Breakers' (NBA Prospect) RJ Hampton. Hampton's father Rod will join the Jason & John Show on 92.9 FM ESPN Tuesday in-studio at 1:25 p.m.

Just spoke to RJ Hampton after New Zealand Breakers practice. Will have more in the morning but ...1) Hampton hasn’t spoken to Jalen Green about playing in the NBL. He thinks Green will play college basketball at this point.2) Hampton had dinner with Mike Miller last night.

Was told by a scout that aside from who they were all there to see (James Wiseman and Precious Achiuwa) Boogie Ellis, Lester Quinones and Damion Baugh helped themselves at Memphis basketball pro day.
