Giannotto & Jeffrey will feature Mark Giannotto, lead columnist for the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Before joining The Commercial Appeal in January 2017, Giannotto worked at The Washington Post for more than seven years as a sports reporter covering Virginia, Virginia Tech, high school sports and the Washington Capitals. He also contributed to The Washington Post magazine. The 2008 graduate of the University of Michigan grew up in Potomac, Maryland. Giannotto has appeared on multiple Memphis outlets and hosted during the 2018 Gary Parrish Show Celebrity Week.
92.9’s Jeffrey Wright will continue as an Executive Producer with Geoff Calkins in addition to his promotion as Co-host with Giannotto. Wright has spent 3 years as 92.9’s Lead Fill-In Host prior to his promotion to co-host with Giannotto covering the SEC, the Grizzlies, NFL, and more. Wright is a native Memphian and spent four years in Oxford, Miss. covering Ole Miss for the Yahoo/Rivals network and hosting the Oxford Exxon Podcast, the largest daily podcast in the Southeast. Wright is a graduate of the Memphis University School and Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
Giannotto & Jeffrey’s Executive Producer will remain Connor Dunning. In addition to producing the G&J Show, Dunning is Entercom-Memphis’ Social Media/Web/Marketing Lead. Dunning is a University of Memphis graduate and spent the past year producing the Eric Hasseltine Show.
