Dallas Cowboys cancel practice due to non-Covid related medical emergency involving staff member

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys have canceled Tuesday's practice due to a non-COVID-19 related medical emergency involving a staff member.

Coach Mike McCarthy was set to hold his press conference at 10:30 this morning but the team says that and all player availability for Tuesday has also been canceled.

According to Laura Harris of NBC 5, Frisco police say a Cowboys coach was transported by ambulance from the team's headquarters at The Star to the hospital with a medical condition.

The team says more information will be provided at a later time.

It's very likely that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was unaware of the emergency when he joined Shan and RJ this morning on 105.3 The Fan. The announcement came about 10 minutes after his interview ended.
