MEMPHIS — Senior quarterback Brady White has been named American Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week and selected to both the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award's Great 8 list and Manning Award Stars of the Week after leading the Memphis Tigers to a record-setting comeback victory over UCF on Saturday at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.

White finished with career highs in completions (34), yards (486), passing touchdowns (6) and total touchdowns (7) in the Tigers' 50-49 win. His passing yards were also a Memphis record and his total touchdowns tied a school and AAC record as Memphis came back from a 21-point deficit in the second half to complete the largest comeback in program history.

Calvin Austin III, White's favorite target Saturday, was named to The American's Honor Roll for his performance against UCF. Austin III had nine catches for 151 yards, both career highs, and two touchdowns. His final touchdown gave the Tigers a 50-49 lead, their first of the game, with 1:08 remaining. A former walk-on and All-American in track, Austin III had just 17 receptions last season.

White has now earned AAC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season, also receiving the honor after throwing for four touchdowns in a win over Arkansas State on Sept. 5.

The Davey O'Brien Award will select its National Quarterback of the Week from the Great 8 list on Wednesday. White is among eight quarterbacks nationally named to the Manning Award Stars of the Week list. Fans can vote on the overall winner by visiting the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page. The winner of the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week will be announced Thursday at 11 a.m. when voting closes. Click here to vote. White is also on the watch list for the Davey O'Brien and Manning awards, both given annually to the nation's top quarterback.

White threw five of his touchdowns over the final 23:16 of the game to lead the Tigers' rally from 21 points down with under nine minutes remaining in the third. The victory gave Memphis its first win over UCF in 30 years, ending a 13-game losing streak in the series.

With Saturday's performance, White moved into third on the Tigers' career passing yards list with 8,372. He surpassed Riley Ferguson (7,955) and moved closer to Paxton Lynch (8,863). White also has 72 career passing touchdowns, moving past Ferguson (70) for second in program history.
