Atlanta Falcons beat writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, D. Orlando Ledbetter, joined Carl Dukes and Mike Bell to breakdown the Falcons' draft picks.
Ledbetter on sources, “We try to get both sides of the story. They Falcons don’t let their scouts talk so I have built my own network of people I trust.”
Ledbetter on Kaleb McGary, “The Falcons are big on having the right type of people in the locker room and the story I wrote about seemed like a red flag because it was a locker room issue.”
Ledbetter on what grade he gave the Falcons for their draft, “They got a C- for the whole draft and a D for the first round picks. You want more than a guy who can just play in the first round, you need something more than that. Darrele Revis was picked 14th overall. They took a guy who was projected to be picked in the later rounds.”
Ledbetter continued, “The Falcons O-line coaches have their work cut out for them.”
Ledbetter on if Dan Quinn is comfortable with what he has on defense, “I think so. I like the fourth round kid out of Charleston, John Cominsky.”
Ledbetter went on to talk about some of the other rookies the Falcons drafted.
Ledbetter on who will start at Right Tackle, “Ty Sambrailo will start and they will have to develop McGary (Kaleb McGary).”
