The worst fears for the Atlanta Braves have come true after watching pitcher Mike Soroka leave the field under assistance after falling while trying to make a move toward first base.
Manager Brian Snitker confirmed after the Braves' 7-2 loss to the Mets that Soroka's right Achilles was torn and he'd miss the rest if the 2020 season.
Snitker didn't have all the information. No timetabel is known, yet. The Braves' manager didn't know if it was a full tear or a partial, only that Soroka's season was over.
