After having an agreement with Atlanta for nearly two months, Todd Gurley finally was able to fly to Atlanta, where he took and passed his Falcons physical Monday, per source. With his physical behind him, Gurley now can focus on his preparation for a bounce-back season.

Ever since the Falcons signed running back Todd Gurley in the offseason, there have questions and concerns regarding his health.

Gurley, who tore his ACL in his final season at the University of Georgia, saw limited snaps while with the Rams during the 2019. Reports prior to that season said he was dealing with arthritis in his knee.

All NFL-related physicals had been discontinued in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak back in March that prevented Gurley from taking his physical until now.

Gurley, 25, will look to bounce back from a season in which he averaged a mere 3.8 yards per carry, significantly down from years prior in which he averaged 4.9 and 4.7 yards per carry.
