Cole Hamels' left shoulder injury could be a bigger issue than first thought because the Atlanta Braves have no idea when he'll next pitch in a game. And he hasn't even thrown a ball at this point.
The veteran left-hander signed a one-year, $18 million contract with the Braves back in December but injured his shoulder at some point during offseason workouts.
Hamels was a lock for Atlanta's starting rotation.
“He’s not even on the radar yet that I’m aware of, even for tossing yet,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said Monday. “He’s progressing gradually, doing all the day-to-day rehab stuff.”
With question marks surrounding Hamels, who are you putting in your starting rotation at this point?
