The Atlanta Braves are coming off a season where they were only one game away from getting to the World Series.
One guy who was a big part of that run was Marcell Ozuna. With him being a free agent, you would think that the Braves would have made him a priority to bring back in 2021. It has been pretty quiet on that front outside of Ozuna deciding to change agents.
Jon Chuckery made an interesting point about the free-agent market for right-handed hitters.
"The options are limited," Chuckery said. A lot of the rumors have been that the Braves are waiting on a decision about the designated hitter, but given where this team finished, you would think they would have more of a sense of urgency.
As we are less than a month away from pitchers and catchers reporting, the Braves need to settle in on who will be the right-handed power hitter that they need. There is a strange sense though that this team may be playing the waiting game.
