Falcons Oluokun Preparing To Be Starting Linebacker

Plus, he told the Midday Show about being put on the Reserve/Covid-19 List.

The Atlanta Falcons finally put on the helmets during their practice on Wednesday morning.

Today would've marked the first preseason games of the 2020 season for the NFL.

One player that has something to prove this season is Falcons linebacker Foye Oluokun, who will be the likely starter after De'Vondre Campbell wasn't resigned in the offseason.

"Definitely been watching a lot of my tapes from the first two years," Oluokun said. "Rookie year, I got a lot of playing time. Not necessarily (just at) Will but at Mike (linebacker), too...But definitely been watching to see what I should be improving on and understanding how our offense is trying to attack our defense so I know when to take my shots and stuff so I can make more plays on the ball. That's what it's all about; make the next jump, become a play-maker."

Oluokun, who was put on the reserve/Covid-19 list just a week ago, discussed what it meant to be on that list.

"Yeah, I was good," Oluokun said. "I mean, I'll let you guys talk to the trainers about that but I was good the whole time. I wasn't really worried or concerned Maybe the first day I got put on it but I think that's just how whatever happened to me, you have to do that. But I knew I was going to be alright.
