The 'tide is ready to turn' for Atlanta United

Manager Stephen Glass feels the team is about to see some positive results

It's no secret that this season for Atlanta United has been a massive disappointment.

The year began with championship aspirations, but a litany of issues have put United into a position they aren't used to being in, vulnerable.

From Josef Martinez's injury to the transfer of Pity Martinez to the dismissal of Frank de Boer, Atlanta United has dealt with more speed bumps than they had imagined this season.

After a three-game losing streak, United finally picked up a win on Wednesday against Dallas and Manager Stephen Glass spoke with John and Hugh about how he feels things are about to change for the team.

"There's a lot of strange things going on this year, but what we have is a group of players that have got a determination to do better than what we've been doing," says Glass. "We saw that the other night, there's been a lot for the buys to cope with, but it felt the other night like the tide is ready to turn."
