Gwen Stefani Is Back on 'The Voice,' but Which Coach Is Leaving?

Season 19 is scheduled to debut in the fall

Fans of The Voice will be seeing a familiar face when the 19th season of the show kicks off this fall.

Gwen Stefani announced her return to the show as she’ll be a full-time coach alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson.

Stefani last appeared in season 17 and also served as a coach during seasons 7, 9, and 12. She served as an advisor during seasons 8 and 10.

The show was forced to go remote for the final rounds of its most recent season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s no word whether or not it will continue that way when it returns in the fall or if the show will be filmed in studio. Once it does return, the show will be without Nick Jonas, who will not be coming back for the new season.

Todd Tilghman was the most recent winner on the show giving coach Blake Shelton a victory, his seventh championship.

Tilghman beat out teammate Toneisha Harris and Thunderstorm Artis, who was on Nick Jonas’ team for the title.

During the finale, Stefani made an appearance alongside her boyfriend Blake Shelton to perform their single “Nobody But You,” perhaps teasing her involvement in the upcoming season.

The couple has garnered pretty significant attention on social media while in quarantine for an adventurous new fashion style. Blake’s quarantine mullet. Stefani has been helping style Shelton’s mullet recently adding stripes to it.

Shelton made the announcement on March 17, "with basically EVERYTHING I had scheduled being canceled for the foreseeable further @gwenstefani and I have made a decision together. I am growing my mullet back as a symbol of hope or some s*** like that.. Anyway it’s coming back! For real. Stay tuned..."
