(93.7 The Fan) - Philadelphia short stop Jean Segura not running out a pop-up in the first inning Monday night may have cost Andrew McCutchen the rest of his season.

Padres Ian Kinsler smartly dropped the pop-up with Andrew McCutchen on first and while in a run-down, making an awkward move and left with a knee injury.

No word yet to the severity. He’ll have an MRI Tuesday. The Phillies have called up Adam Haseley from Triple A Lehigh Valley .

San Diego would go on to win the game 8-2.

Cutch is batting .256 and leads the league in walks with 43.
