Toney becames the third Panther to publicly say he will return, following point guard Xavier Johnson earlier this month and swingman Justin Champagnie Friday night.

Toney finished fourth on the Panthers in scoring at 9.5 ppg.  His 4.8 rebounds per game were second on the team.

Also on Saturday, Pitt announced that forward Samson George will enter the transfer portal.  He is expected to graduate this spring and will be immediately eligible to play elsewhere.  In three seasons, George played in 27 games and averaged 0.9 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
