PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Steelers outside linebacker Bud Dupree has signed his franchise tender to return with the team in 2020.
The 27-year-old Dupree had the best season of his career in 2019, with 11.5 sacks, 68 tackles, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
The Steelers want to sign Dupree to a long-term deal and have until July 15 this year to get that done.
The NFL Draft starts Thursday night and while the Steelers don’t have a first round draft pick, they’ll be keeping their eyes on who is left when their 49th pick comes in the second round.
