PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - After Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was injured at the beginning of last season, he announced he wasn’t going to shave or cut his hair until he could complete an NFL-caliber pass to one of his teammates.

Well, Big Ben is looking a little cleaner today.

In a video posted to his BigBen7 Twitter page Monday, Roethlisberger is seen completing passes to teammate’s receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Ryan Switzer and running back James Conner at Quaker Valley High School’s football field.

The video also shows Roethlisberger in a barber’s chair getting a shave and haircut.

At the end of the Video, Smith-Schuster says, “he’s back, stay tuned.”

The 38-year-old veteran has been out since Week 2 last season when he injured his elbow against the Seattle Seahawks.

He has been recovering from elbow surgery since last year.

Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert says he suspects Roethlisberger will return in 2020 better than ever.
