
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) will host a household chemical collection at Boyce Park Sky Lodge parking lot on Saturday, August 15th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Residents can safely dispose of chemicals like cleaners, paints, statins, varnishes, batteries, motor oil, and pesticides.
The cost is $20 to dispose of 10 gallons/50 pounds of aerosol cans, automotive fluids, chemistry sets, gasoline and kerosene, household cleaners, mercury thermometers, paint products, pesticides/garden chemicals, photo chemicals and pool chemicals.
Disposing of fire extinguishers is $12 and liquid mercury is $15 per pound.
Oversize loads will be subject to additional charges.
In order to safely social distance during the COVID-19 pandemic, advanced registration will be required.
