PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - As the Steelers gear up for the preseason opener the talk continues to be how will this team overcome the loss of Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. NVBC Sports Analyst Chris Simms had thoughts on that when he joined The Cook and Joe Show on Thursday.
"Not a huge drop off," Simms said. "This organization has always had a knack of finding wide receivers."
He also pointed out that James Conner is more than capable of carrying the load in the backfield.
He says he still thinks this team is loaded with talent and great coaches and they will continue to be a contender in the AFC and in fact they might be better because of the loss of AB and Bell.
"I like this team being under the radar," Simms said. "They are going to be playing with a chip on their shoulder because everyone thinks they are going to fail without AB and Bell."
