Pirates' Pablo Reyes Suspended For 80 Games

(93.7 The Fan) - Pirates infielder/outfielder Pablo Reyes received and 80-game suspension without pay for testing positive for a performance enhancing drug.

MLB.com’s Adam Berry reports Reyes tested positive for Boldenone.

MLB announced that Pirates INF/OF Pablo Reyes has received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Boldenone, a performance-enhancing substance.Reyes is currently on the Triple-A Indianapolis roster, not in Major League Spring Training camp.

Reyes is not with the team for Spring Training and is currently on the roster for the Pirates Triple-A affiliate, Indianapolis Indians.

Reyes played in 71 games for the Bucs in 2019. He had 29 hits in 143 at bats with 19 RBI and two home runs with a .203 batting average.
