In this segment, Paul is joined on the hotline by the Vice President and Director of Athletics from Robert Morris University, Chris King. Paul and King talk about the NCAA allowing senior athletes in spring sports to have another year of eligibility, and why they believe that's the right decision to make. They agree that it's unfortunate for winter sport athletes, but financially it's not viable to include them in this change. King also breaks down what he thinks could be some of the financial impacts that coronavirus could have on college athletics. He believes that this will be a case by case basis and individual schools will handle things differently. King mentions that a fear the industy has is that funding might not be available for some of the athletic programs because schools will need to budget more and that could lead to possiblly cutting excessive programs.
