Duquesne basketball moves home games

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Duquesne announced the renovation to the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse will not be done before February. As a result, Dukes’ hoops goes on the road again.

The Duquesne men’s and women’s basketball teams will have a combined 11 games played in December and January  at their temporary home at LaRoche University’s Kerr Fitness Center.

The games will have no fans due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19.

Men’s games at LaRoche are January 5 vs. Davidson, January 9 vs. Fordham, January 20 vs. Rhode Island and January 30 vs. Saint Joseph’s.

Women’s games at LaRoche are December 11 vs St. Bonaventure, January 8 vs VCU, January 10 vs. Richmond, January 15 vs Saint Joseph’s, January 17 vs. LaSalle, January 29 vs. Dayton, January 31 vs.
Saint Louis.

LaRoche University is located 10 miles north of the Duquesne campus.  Work on the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
