The NFL and NFL Players Association announced Tuesday that no players tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
From Sept. 13 – 19. 14,074 tests were administered to 2,438 players with zero positive results. Overall, 36,664 tests were administered to a total of 7,845 players and team personnel with only five new confirmed positives coming from other personnel.
The Saints currently have zero players on the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list after placing four, running back Dwayne Washington, linebacker Kaden Ellis, long snapper Zach Wood and returner Deonte Harris on the list during training camp.
Harris, Ellis and Woods stints were short and the result of what the team called false positives and Washington returned to the team this week.
