CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was sent home Thursday with an illness head coach Kevin Stefanski said.

Beckham has not tested positive for COVID-19 and the team is also awaiting the results of his most recent test taken Thursday.

“You have to be careful,” Stefanski said. “I don't want to assume anything, but with all of our guys we just want to follow the protocols and be safe.”

If Beckham can’t play Sunday at Pittsburgh it would leave a significant hole in the passing game.

“I don’t even want to think about that,” Stefanski said. “Odell is a major part of what we do.”
