The #1 ranked soccer team in the country has paused all team-related activities due to coronavirus-related protocols and has canceled their last two games.

Pitt men’s soccer announced the move on Wednesday but gave not further information on if anyone was infected or if protocols were broken.

Pitt was set to take on Notre Dame this Friday and Syracuse on November 6 but both those contests have been cancelled and will not be made up.

Pitt will still be in the ACC Men’s Soccer Championship, having already qualified and will play a quarterfinal match on November 15 at a site that has yet to be determined.
