Pirates sign Todd Frazier to minor league deal

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) — The Pittsburgh Pirates signed first and third baseman Todd Frazier to a minor league deal on Friday.

The Trib Live's Kevin Gorman reported the deal, and the contract would be worth $1.5 million if Frazier makes the roster.

The agreement is a nonroster invite to partake in spring training.

The move is still dependent on Frazier's physical, which is pending.

Frazier spent his 2020 season split between the New York Mets and Texas Rangers.
