Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was limited during practice Tuesday, an encouraging sign after injuring his foot against the Jaguars on Sunday.
Joining Smith-Schuster with limited action was quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, with a quad injury and defensive tackle Cam Heyward, with an ankle injury.
More troubling, cornerback Joe Haden, who injured his knee on Sunday did not practice and was joined by running backs Trey Edmunds and Jaylen Samuels.
Linebacker Jayrone Elliot who was out with an illness returned to full practice.
Center Maurkice Pouncey and guard David DeCastro both got another veterans day off, with tight end Eric Ebron, defensive ends Stephon Tuitt and Tayson Alualu both returning in full after a veteran day off Monday along with linebacker Vince Williams,
The Ravens did not hold an in-person practice on Tuesday due to cases of COVID-19 in the organization.
All of their activities are being held virtually in Baltimore.
Also on Tuesday, outside linebacker Pernell McPhee was the latest Ravens player to be added to the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list, joining running backs Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins along with other players.
Ravens insider Jeff Zrebiec says the Ravens expect to add “a few more players” to their list.
Those players will not be able to play on Thursday, that game is still scheduled for 8:20 p.m.
