The you-know-what has basically canceled most of our summer plans. We're missing so many traditions we love: Summer travel, concerts, festivals, fireworks, the Blue Angels, crowded bars and restaurants . . . but when you get hungry for classic PNW cuisine, the Washington State Fair has you covered.
You've probably gotten used to take-out/no contact delivery by now, but here's great news: Fair food is going drive-through in Puyallup!
For three weekends in July you can drive through the fairgrounds, order a tasty treat from your favorite state fair vendor and get it delivered right to your car. Genius!
We're talking Brank's BBQ, Fisher Scones, Krusty Pups, Duris elephant ears, Earthquake's Biggest Burgers, Murph's Barbecue, and more. Look over the full list here and get ready for fair grub to go starting the weekend of July 3rd!
Here's the schedule:
July 3, 4 & 5July 10, 11 & 12July 17, 18 & 19Fridays: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pmSaturdays & Sundays: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm
They have a few rules, like staying in your car, wearing a mask, and using a debit or credit card if possible. It's all right here along with a handy map and instructions on where to drive onto the fairgrounds.
