Chrissy Metz, the star of ‘This Is Us,’ just revealed her new boyfriend to fans.
The 40-year-old actress praised her new man Bradley Collins on Instagram in honor of National Boyfriend Day, which swept the social media platform on Saturday.
“Happy #nationalboyfriendday to my dreamboat! Bradley, from the first moment I laid eyes on you I wanted and needed to know you,” Metz captioned several adorable pictures featuring the couple.
“Now I feel so lucky to love you. You can #Collinsmesmitten for sure! Thank you for being the absolute wonder that you are, I love you,” the actress and singer said.
People reported that Metz returned to Los Angeles in late August to start production on season 5 of “This Is Us.”
In August, "This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman addressed a list of questions from a Deadline Contenders viewer in a tweet. One of those questions regarded whether or not the show would be addressing the coronavirus pandemic.
"Yes on Covid," Fogelman said. "We've decided to attack things head on. Very proud of @ThisIsUsWriters."
While Fogelman didn't elaborate on how the pandemic would affect the Pearson family, he seemed to pretty bluntly say that the pandemic would play a big role in how the show progresses.
That being said, even with the addition of the pandemic to the storyline, the show won't be taking any major twists or turns. "Same planned ending. Same route to get there," he explained.
Fans are anxious and excited for more Pearson family content considering the shocking ending to the Season 4 finale.
Over the summer, Metz even admitted that the show makes her cry just as much as the next person.
"I read the script, I’m in the script, I shot the show and every time without fail I get on the couch, my best friend and I watch it, and I’m like ‘my god!'" she explained.
"Because when the music comes together and I don’t see the other scenes and the way that they edit… I don’t want to say it's perfect, but it’s perfect,” exclaims the actress. She continued, “I cry, for sure I cry.”
