Calls to stay home have increased as precautions across the nation continue to be put into place in order to stop the spread of coronavirus.
Most recently, the mayor of D.C. has shut down metro stops and streets near the National Mall and Tidal Basin in an effort to keep residents from congregating to see the cherry blossoms.
If you happen to be one of those people who is experiencing cherry blossom withdrawl, not to worry. You can practice social distancing and still view the blossoms.
*Enter bloom cam*
The blossom cam, which was set up by Trust for the National Mall & the National Cherry Blossom Festival, has made it possible to experience one of D.C.'s most beautiful spring offerings right from home.
With the cam, you can view a live stream of the trees lining the Tidal Basin.
