Aside from being the fierce figured head of the Beyhive, Queen B is totally killing the apiary game. In case you were wondering, an apiary is where all the beehives filled with honey are kept until harvesting. You’re welcome.
After slaying the cover of British Vogue this month, Beyoncé’s cover story also gives us more insight into the mega star’s home routines. The Queen shares that she keeps real beehives at home.
After British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful asked Bey "What is something I would find surprising about you?" The singer lets us into her life of bee keeping. She shares, "I know it’s random, but I have two beehives. Real ones. I’ve had them at my house for a while now.”
The “Black Parade” singer goes on to add "I have around 80,000 bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year.”

Beyoncé’s hives are actually for her daughters who have allergies. When grown hyper-locally honey can help with allergies and has Bey puts it, "honey has countless healing properties.” The mother to Blue Ivy, and twins Rumi and Sir, is making sure her baby bees are feeling good.
