Inland Empire man confesses to stomping his girlfriend's 3-year-old son to death

An Inland Empire man is now held behind bars without bail, after confessing to police he stomped a three-year-old-boy to death.

Santos Rodriguez, 24, was transported to the West Valley Detention Center and was being held without bail.

The young victim, who was the son of the man's girlfriend, died at a San Bernardino hospital over the weekend, and the man initially told investigators that the boy had fallen off his Razor scooter.

But they say he later admitted that he'd repeatedly stomped on the boy's head after losing his temper.
