On Monday evening, the NFL released No. 70-41 on the NFL Top 100 list as voted on by the players. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott came in at No. 46 on the list after he was not included in last year's.
Eagles QB Carson Wentz was left off of the list completely

Prescott joins the top 50 after a season where the Cowboys went 8-8 and failed to reach the playoffs. Prescott was not selected to the Pro-Bowl, although he did throw for 4,902 yards which ranked second in the league. Prescott's numbers point to a quarterback that's right on the cusp of the top 10 QBs in the league, and clearly the NFL players think he is in that conversation. Dak threw for a career-high 30 touchdowns, which ranked fourth in the league, while also grading out with a 70.2 QBR, again ranked fourth best.

When comparing him to Wentz, Prescott beats Wentz in passing yards, touchdowns, completion percentage, rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, and quarterback rating. However, consider Wentz's supporting cast versus what Prescott had to work with, it's hard to see those statistics as an easy, side-by-side comparison. Add to the fact that Wentz had an MVP-caliber season in his career and helped lead his team to three playoff appearances to Dak's lone visit to the postseason, the gap closes between the two division rivals (noted that both quarterbacks have zero playoff wins).

Here's are the quarterbacks that have been ranked so far in the top 100:

43. Jimmy Garoppolo

46. Dak Prescott

58. Kirk Cousins

68. Ryan Tannehill

87. Josh Allen

90. Kyler Murray

On Monday, five Eagles were ranked from 100-70Per the Eagles website, "The countdown will not include any more Eagles, however. The disrespect is real for players like quarterback Carson Wentz, who was No. 96 on the list last year."
