You can always rely on Philly fans to show up for games in rain or shine or even a pandemic.
"In the environment we are in, it's almost like a golf environment," said Boone in his post-game press conference. "I thought there was a timing element to it maybe. Obviously, I didn't necessarily think they would be able to do anything about it and didn't necessarily know who and where it was coming from."
The Phandemic Krew has been camped out behind Ashburn Alley doing their best to cheer the Phillies along during home games. A drum line showed up earlier in the series as well.
“Yeah, you can definitely hear them,” Phillies manager Joe Girardi said. “They’re nice and loud. Obviously I think everyone misses the fans. It’s nice to hear fans even though they’re not in the park. It just shows you how important baseball is to this town and their loyalty to us.”
