For the second year in a row, Sixers general manager Elton Brand has made a deal in the middle of the night to help improve his team.
The deal should give the Sixers some much needed shooting and scoring off the bench, as both players are career years with the Warriors.
Robinson, 6-foot-6, 222 pounds, is averaging 12.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 31/6 minutes this season. He is shooting an impressive 40% from three on 3.5 attempts, and is a career 37% shooter from deep.
Burks, 6-foot-6, 241 pounds, is averaging 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 29 minutes this season. He is shooting 37% from three on 4.7 attempts per game and is a career 37% three-point shooter.
Both Burks and Robinson are set to become free agents at the end of the season.
In order to complete the trade prior to the 3 p.m. deadline the Sixers will need to trade two players to open up two roster spots.
