It seems as if every time the Sixers struggle, the story that crops up is that Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons do not get along.

Embiid told ESPN's Rachel Nichols that he actually predicted this years ago, but he loves playing with Simmons.

"A few years ago I predicted it. I said, and I'm sure if you go back to the archives and stuff you could see it, I predicted that the media were the ones—with my social media and Ben—that would go and try to drive us apart. So at the end of the day, we know what we got to do. I love him, I love playing with him. He's a special talent. He helps us a lot, so I think we can accomplish something special."

Just 12 days ago after three straight losses and what will seemingly be the low point of the 76ers' season, Chris Broussard reported that Embiid and Simmons are "jealous of one another."
However, Philadelphia won three straight to get back on track heading into the All-Star game, where both Embiid and Simmons played very well. Embiid finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Simmons tallied 17 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and no turnovers on 8-9 FG in the win for Team LeBron.
