Kris Bryant is back on the trade block, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale, and the Phillies are showing interest. The Nationals are also reportedly interested in Bryant.

Now, #Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is on the trade clock with the #Phillies and #Nats showing at least exploratory interest.

Bryant, 28, has a base salary of $18.6 million in 2020. Bryant is set to become a free agent after the 2021 season, and it seems unlikely the Cubs will be signing him to the mega-extension he will be after.

The three-time all-star third baseman and 2016 NL MVP has a career slash line of .284/.385/.516 and is averaging 32 homers and 92 RBI per season. In 2019, Bryant hit .282 with 31 homers.

Last Spring, Buster Olney linked Bryant to the Phillies. 94WIP's Jack Fritz wrote why Bryant to the Phillies makes perfect sense.
Speaking of Fritz, he's back with Bryant Lent!
