The Indianapolis Colts traded for Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz on Thursday afternoon. The trade reunites Wentz with his former offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

BetMGM quickly shifted the Colts odds to win the Super Bowl, moving them from +2500 to +2000.

Further, the Colts moved from +130 to +105 to win the AFC South, according to Patrick Eichner, PointsBet Sportsbook's Director of Communications.

Wentz is looking for a fresh start in Indy following a volatile past few years with the Philadelphia Eagles. After going No. 2 in the 2016 NFL Draft, Wentz has had an up-and-down tenure with the team.

He helped build the Eagles into a Super Bowl contender, but missed the franchise's first Super Bowl victory after tearing his ACL in Week 14 of the 2017 season. Wentz has since battled several more injuries and fallen out of favor with the organization.

Wentz rejoins Reich in Indianapolis with the hopes of revitalizing his career with a strong offensive line and running back Jonathan Taylor in the backfield. The Eagles will roll with second-year quarterback Jalen Hurts but look to be in rebuilding mode just four years after hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. Philadelphia is 50-1 long shots to win the Super Bowl at BetMGM.
