Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson finally returned from injury on Thursday night against the Giants, only to suffer—what appears to be–a serious ankle injury late in the game on a punt return.
Jackson, who has been constantly battling injury after injury since rejoining the Eagles last year, posted this on his Instagram account after the game.
Dr. Robert Palumbo, MD spoke about the injury on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi.
"At first I didn't know if it was a knee or ankle injury, until I saw the post in the boot," said Dr. Palumbo. "But I think it's a high ankle sprain...that would be my first guess, obviously."
