The Eagles have requested to interview Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, according to an ESPN report.
Smith, 38-years old, has coached in the NFL since 2011. He has been the Titans offensive coordinator since 2019 and has been a big reason the team's offense has managed to carry the team to the playoffs the last two seasons.
The Titans have had a top-10 offense the last two seasons under Smith, finishing 10th in 2019, and 4th in 2020. They were also second in yards in 2020.
Smith is viewed as one of the brighter up-and-coming offensive minds in the NFL and has received interest around the league from teams looking for a head coach. With the Titans eliminated the Eagles will not have to wait to interview Smith, assuming he wants to interview.
The list of known Eagles' candidates now stands at four -- Lincoln Riley, Mike Kafka, Robert Saleh and Smith.
