Myers: 'We didn't sign D'Angelo with the intention of trading him'

Golden State Warriors GM/president Bob Myers spoke with the media for the first time since free agency began on June 30 and there was a lot to talk about.

Myers was asked about the Kevin Durant/D'Angelo Russell sign-and-trade and Russell's future with the Warriors. 

There has been speculation that the Warriors don't plan on keeping Russell long-term but Myers quickly shot those reports down.

"We didn't sign him with the intention of just trading him," Myers said. "We haven't even seen him play in our uniform yet,"

Bob also talked about Durant's departure and how the Warriors couldn't have done anything else to convince the 2x Finals MVP to stay:
